As a journalist I have the writing ability, and my training as a Strategic Social Media Manager has given me the skills and confidence to run effective and engaging campaigns on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
I can set up or maximise your channels, or train and support you to manage your own social media needs. I also offer more general Public Relations, Media Relations and Marketing advice and can help with business writing, including newsletters, blogs, press releases and LinkedIn articles.
I plan to offer a range of workshops and can taylor them to suit your needs or you can join one of the more general sessions.
These will include the key platforms plus workshops to help you to identify the best platforms for your business, find and deliver engaging content or how to craft a content strategy. Prices from £35pp.
Social Media Set up or Audit
If you are totally new to social media I will work with you to set up your channels and create 10-15 posts to get you started.
I will carry out an audit of your social media channels and feed back to you how to manage your activity more effectively. I will produce a report for you and arrange a verbal feedback session to answer any questions or give examples.
Set up £100 per channel, Audit £125 per social media channel
Social Media Strategy
This is the nuts and bolts of social media and what a business really needs to embrace social media and thrive. In addition to setting up and auditing I will look at customer personas, measurable metrics, influencer engagement, content planning and hashtags.
£250 per social media channel
Full Social Media Management
This option of full social media management includes all of the above plus I look after your day to day online world, freeing you up to get on with your business. The first two weeks are spent working on a bespoke business strategy and getting things ready to go. The price includes optimum posting on your selected channels, regular updates and monthly reports.
£450 for one platform, £600 for two platforms
This will be a personalised session designed around the needs of your business. It could be setting up on your chosen social media channels, preparing you to make the most of your social media or running a campaign or promotion. I will ask you some initial questions and do some research, then liaise with you either face-to-face or via Skype or Zoom.
£100 for 1-hour, £150 for 2-hour
I love writing and can turn my hand to many different themes and topics, ranging from newsletters, blogs and press releases. So if you need an article drafting or a blog knocking into shape then get in touch. As a trained journalist I’m very comfortable drafting news releases and liaising with news editors and photographers.
I started my career as a journalist and news editor before moving into media/public relations for a large utility company. I gained a marketing qualification along the way, and in 2016 added Strategic Social Media to my skills after completing Digital Mum’s training programme. I’ve also done further training with The Hub on all aspects of social media and Facebook Ads.
I have worked as Social Media Manager for a national epilepsy charity, looking after their Facebook and Twitter accounts, and looked after Facebook and Instagram for Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club. Other clients include GRIT charity, The University of Bedfordshire and Veolia/Affinity Water.
When I’m not tweeting or checking social media platforms I can be found running around a tennis court or cooking up some treats at home.
